I’ve just watched the video of Gilad Shalit. I can hardly believe the still image of him we’ve become so used to seeing over the past three years is now a moving one. We have waited so long for this. It is very emotional all of us here who have never even met him. How must his parents be feeling? We are about to light the Shabbat candles. I’ll pray even harder for his release now that we have seen for the first time in 1,195 days that Gilad Shalit is alive and seems to be well.
