Assassination has always been a darker side of politics!

It may help the cause back home in Israel, but how will it impact on international relations?
The Arab world are going to be evermore suspicious of Israel and their methods, and the 65 million Brits & Irish aren't going to be happy being dragged through the mud - and facing the future prospect of suspicion when they travel to Arab countries (& let's remember many live and work in Dubai).
Overall this isn't going to quash growing antisemetism around the globe but only increase it.
Will the Israeli goverment apologise to UK and Ireland for allowing it's citizens (or agencies) to do this, affecting those whose names were used and these nations as a whole? Probably not as Israel thinks it's a law unto it's self, and doesn't seem to too concerned about it's relations with other countries (unless necessary for it's own purposes), Jewish people in the UK don't seem to bothered either - as it's seen as a means to an end, and if others are caught up in their pursuits who cares?

You know for sure that Israel did it, huh?!

It's just possible that it wasn't Mossad at all but rather the work of some group that wants the British government's "fragile relationship" (to quote today's Torygraph) with Mossad, so vital since 9/11 and in face of Iran's nuclear threat, to dissolve. Hence the use of Brit passports, to force a breach.

Not quite James Bond - more 'Plankton Pond'...hehe.
Israel already messed up in the past trying to travel to Jordan on a Canadian passport - will they not learn?
That's three English speaking country's passports and numerous people's identity theft - it's not a way for a nation to endear itself with an already fragile world image....

Yvetta,

As blogs are moving thick and fast and you probably didn't read a reply to saying that I was using Israel as a scapegoat regarding them roping various countries into war, and desiring American/ Israeli domination in the middle east, below (pasted) was my answer to that.

"I'm not in the business of demonizing any nation (or anyone), and I'm not doing that now but you should look into your history a little deeper (than merely from a Zionist perspective).

Did you know that the wars with Egypt, that then led onto the Suez canal closure, and further diplomatic problems with your neighbors, and then war which then brought UK and France into the war - was created by Israel?

Israeli terrorists tried blowing up the American embassy in Egypt, done because Israel were jealous of their then relationship with USA (when Israel didn't have a relationship with America or anyone else for that matter). So you need to look beyond the Israel (and Jews) are always victims (of the Europeans or the Arabs etc) - they started that whole war that went on for decades (and was started in an underhand terrorist like fashion) - this is not conspiracy theory. Check this out for a start.

"in 1954, an Israeli spy ring was caught trying to blow up the US Information agency and other foreign institutions in Egypt. The goal was to create tension between the US and Egypt and prevent rapprochement. In Israel, both Defense Minister Pinhas Lavon and Prime Minister David Ben Gurion disclaimed responsibility for the action, and blamed each other. This incident came to be known variously as "the Lavon affair"

As for the world trade centre
Why would arabs hate America? (other than their staunch support for zionism)...?
There is absolutely no other reason?

Lebanon:
Before the Lebanese Civil War (1975–1990), the country experienced a period of relative calm and prosperity, driven by tourism, agriculture, and banking.[10] Because of its financial power and diversity, Lebanon was known in its heyday as the "Switzerland of the East".[11] It attracted large numbers of tourists,[12] such that the capital Beirut was referred to as "Paris of the Middle East." At the end of the war, there were extensive efforts to revive the economy and rebuild national infrastructure.[13]

Until July 2006, Lebanon enjoyed considerable stability, Beirut's reconstruction was almost complete,[14] and increasing numbers of tourists poured into the nation's resorts.[12] Then, the month long 2006 War between Israel and Hezbollah caused significant civilian death and heavy damage to Lebanon's civil infrastructure.

For the record, America and Britain have a lot to answer for (as do Spain, France, Germany Russia etc) regarding imperialism and meddling in others affairs for their own benefit - politics is often a dirty thing behind the scenes, as we have again witnessed this week.
