Huh, except that Tsahal just said its use of white phosphorus use was within the rules defined in Geneva conventions (which does not forbid them). It NEVER said that it didn't use this type of ammunition.

So it is not used as a weapon, which is what was really said by Tsahal...
By the way, anyone could see the white phosphorus ammo 'exploding' high in the air and make the smokescreen it is supposed to do.

It acknowledged the weapons appeared to have been used legally to make smoke screens to hide troop movements, but warned of the risk to Palestinian civilians.

So we remain where we were. We don't know what caused this unfortunate woman's death and almost certainly never will. Though I can't imagine inhaling tear gas did her an awful lot of good

I have never claimed knowledge of what was the cause of death but merely consistently pointed out that we will probably never know and that " an army spokesman said..." without offering any evidence is no proof that she didn't die as a result of IDF actions
