By the way, the arabs got arrested for trying to assault Jews and police. Umm El-Fahm is an Israeli town within all recognised Israeli borders so the carrying of Israeli flags is not only perfectly legal, it's perfectly sane.

The arabs who run the show in Umm El-Fahm have connections to Al Qaeda and many are serving lengthy jail-terms and are on international terrorism lists. Tell me my uninformed friend, how does that constitute "minding their own business"?

I'm glad the Israeli TV shows are showing an even handed (some might say confused) report on this issue, as a cursory reading of all the media outlets online, even those normally ready and willing to indulge in a rightist-bash find it difficult to deny the need for police action when flag-carriers get pelted with rocks.

Please elucidate. I have no idea what you are on about.

I know it is incredible but even the ultra-rightists have rights in Israel. Including the right to organize a protest.
Those who try to disrupt it are those who break the Israeli laws, that apply to ALL ISRAELIS, Arab citizens included.
It's very interesting to see that the author of this blog entry seems to believe Arab citizens in Israel are above the law. Says a lot about him, imo.
