The Israeli beauty products shop "Ahava" is being targetted by would-be "boycotters" throughout the world including in the UK. Every second Saturday the boycotters mount a noisy, mendacious demonstration outside the shop in Monmouth Street, Covent Garden.
The best response (and one that many have adopted) is to buy more Ahava products. Please buy from their fantastic range, either by visiting the shop or on the Internet.

Please also patronise the shops next door to Ahava which are suffering fallout from the boycotters:

Calgary Herald: A few of my favourite things from Israel - April 23, 2010

Dead Sea Cosmetics
"Ahava is the Hebrew word for love. During my first trip to Israel, we stopped in at the Ahava or “love” factory located along the Dead Sea. I begrudgingly got together with a fellow traveller and we split a pack of hand and foot cream. Our hotel in Jerusalem also provided Ahava shampoo which I brought back with me. Only after returning to Calgary and using the products did my wife and I fall in love with them. We now wholeheartedly embrace the shampoo as the best we’ve ever used and have made a habit of ordering various Ahava products directly from Israel over the Internet. So when I went back in 2009, I was on a mission to bring back a huge supply. But I found that a number of stores in Israel offered Ahava at higher prices than what we were able to obtain “on sale” through our various online sources. It was only after getting to an actual Ahava outlet that I got the prices I was looking for and generously stocked up. I even picked up a few items that we hadn’t tried before, including velvet cream wash and after-shave moisturizer. Products using minerals from the Dead Sea have amazing cleansing and healing properties. Some claim I’m too biased towards Ahava and that all Dead Sea cosmetics are good. That may be the case, but I can’t personally vouch for what I haven’t used."
