A state for all Jews? Yeah...Right...Whatever

One of my favourite blogs Elms in the Yard has raised the issue of the arrest and interrogation of Anat Hoffman (no relation, one hopes, with the resident megaphone Zionist) over her praying at the Kotel or involvement with Women of the Wall.

What is going on here? Someone, somewhere, must be feeling very threatened. After all, Women of the Wall has been in existence for 21 years. Why, all of a sudden, is one of our most prominent members being treated as a criminal?

Indeed, what is going on here?

I have no words to describe how appalled, disturbed and outraged I feel over this as an Israeli citizen, an American citizen and a Jew.

No words at all.

Can we have another state, please?

"He has never been known to use a word that might send a reader to the dictionary."

William Faulkner said this about Ernest Hemingway - but he could equally justifiably have said it about this tr^ll

Noting that he hasn't even tried to counter the claim made in the blog -- preferring instead to try and take this off on an ad hominem tangent -- it appears that Hoffman dislikes clarity of thought. No wonder he obfuscates and fisks so much.
